A Touch of History

The historic Italianate property was built in 1917 and is located in Italian Village, one of Columbus, Ohio's first 'suburbs'. Originally, most of the homeowners were Italian immigrants, but as the neighborhood grew, it became a true melting pot. The architecture of the neighborhood was influenced by a number of Italian craftsmen who helped to build many of the homes in the area that still stand today.

In 1986, the original structure was converted into a Bed and Breakfast. Over the years different owners have added their touches. Most recently, in 2025, a new guest room on the entry level has been added, along with updates to most of the furniture and guest suites. This unique property is one of very few Bed & Breakfasts in Columbus.

Both the Short North and Italian Village have expanded over the years. Today the area is a cultural hub with influences from the Art community and more!
